What another incredible week in Walliams Class! Walliams Class!

In Science this week, the children were exploring fossils! During the lesson, the children discovered how fossils are formed and the different types of fossils. We looked closely at a range of fossils and the children had to think about what questions they would like to find out about the fossils that they had infront of them. Then, we delved into the prossess of how fossils are formed in more depth and the children had to sort the process from start to finish.

In history this week, we looked at Skara Brae which is a Stone Age village and we were discussing why it is important to historians. During the lesson, we looked at what Skara Brae looks like today and the different artefacts that have been found on the site. We then discussed why the discovery of Skara Brae and the artefacts that have been found there and why they are so important to historians when discovering what life was like in the Stone Age.

Have a fantastic weekend!
