What another fantastic week in Walliams Class!

This week in science, the children were investigating whether materials were reflective or non-reflective. When completing the investigation, the children were given a range of materials and a torch and then had to identify whether the light bounced off of the surface or not. The children were extremely engaged during the lesson and were delving deep into their scientific knowledge and understanding of the world by asking a wide range of questions which showed their brilliant understanding.

In art, the children have been busy creating sculptures using clay inspired by Barbara Hepworth! During the lesson, the children manipulated the clay into their own design and ensured it included holes which was something Barbara Hepworth liked including in her designs.
