The children have had yet another brilliant week, filled with artistic expression, scientific discovery, and exciting preparations for their upcoming performance!
In Art, the children completed their final pieces inspired by the work of Paul Klee. Their stunning creations showcase their creativity and understanding of his unique style, and we can't wait to see them displayed in the art gallery at the end of the half term. The children have worked so hard on these pieces, and their efforts have truly paid off!
In Science this week, the children explored the role of flowers in the life cycle of flowering plants. They conducted a fascinating investigation to determine whether all plants have the same number of petals. With careful observation and recording, they made some interesting discoveries that deepened their understanding of plant biology.
The children also embarked on their new DT topic—clay pot making! To begin their journey, they conducted research into different styles and designs of pots, looking at examples from various cultures and historical periods. Using their findings as inspiration, they designed their own unique pots, ready to bring their ideas to life in the coming weeks.
Finally, excitement is building as the children had their final rehearsal for the Easter production, ready to perform on Monday and Tuesday. Their dedication and enthusiasm are evident, and they cannot wait to perform!
It has been another wonderful week, and we are looking forward to even more creativity and learning in the days ahead!
Have a lovely weekend!
