What an amazing first week back we have had! Spelling Shed Champtions too! 

We have been doing lots of learning this week centred around the Romans. We looked at the chronology of the spread of the Roman Empire and how they gradually took control of most of Europe from the Celts! We also used maps to identify which countries they were able to take over in lots of different periods of history. Great work historians! In English we have also been looking at the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii. We have written the start an informal letter in a bottle to send out to sea to send help! 

As well as this, there has been a plethora of outstanding Nando's homework being brought in that has definitely made me smile. Lots of thought and effort had been put into all pieces and they all oozed creativity. Well done! 

Well done to our Pupil of the Week Erin who has had an outstanding week and really shone.
