Wonderful Walliams 06.12.2024

Wow, wow, wow Walliams Class! I cannot believe we have already nearly finished our first term! It has been an absolute pleasure seeing you all flourish and thrive in your learning and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us!

This week, in English, the children finished their persuasive speeches where they were convincing the rest of Who-ville to help stop the Grinch from destroying Christmas. I have been so impressed with their use of persuasive and emotive language along with writing in second person and present tense - keep up the phenomenal work!

On Thursday, we also held our 'Perryfields Has Talent' Auditions where it was incredible to see the amount of talent we have in Walliams Class! The finals will be held on the final week but I am so impressed with everyone that took part - well done everyone!

We have certainly got a busy last 2 weeks ahead before the end of term. On Wednesday next week, we will be making our cous cous salads, Thursday will be our trip to the pantomime at the Civic Theatre (..oh yes it is!) and Friday it will be our Christmas dinner and jumper day - with even more in store on the final week!

Finally, a huge congratulations to our 'Pupil of the Week' Rose! Keep up the phenomenal work!
