Week 5

Date: 7th Feb 2025 @ 3:29pm

It has been a busy week this week.  In English, it has been our story-writing week.  The children wrote a spooky story about a graveyard set in Paris and a girl named Lucy who is friends with a ghostly figure.  The standard of writing has been incredible with lots of fantastic adventurous vocabulary.

Tuesday we held our school 'book look' and the children were very excited to share all the wonderful work they have done so far in year 3 with their adults.

We kicked off our 3 PR scheme.  The children have been busy collecting tokens in return for walking, riding bikes and scooters to school to reduce traffic congestion around the school site.

The class spent Wednesday afternoon in the ICT suite, which is always exciting.  They learned how to code loops and animations using Scratch.

In PSHE, we had discussions around human rights and responsibilities.  We shared how rights and responsiblities are linked with each other.

Have a lovely weekend Seuss class and well done for working hard this week. :)
