Week 2

We have had the best start to 2024! 

We have started our new topic in Science - forces and magnets and we have already investigated push, pull forces and friction. We tested different materials to see how the speed of a car changed when travelling down a ramp. We discovered that rough/bumpy materials created more friction to smoother ones like wood. 

In art, we have been experimenting with paint and different brushes to master working on a small scale. With the help of Paul Klee, we have been studying abstract art!

We have also had a go at a new game on the playground. We competed in our houses to see who was quickest on the Activ-all! We can't wait to try these out more during break and lunchtimes from next week!
