Super Sound Scientists!

Today, Lewis class thoroughly enjoyed conducting a sound survey around the school. They chose various locations to take sound meters to and measure and record how loud it was in decibels. Several classrooms, the ICT suite and the playground were visited. The noisiest locations were classrooms with children participating in a talk task activity and I'm sure it comes as no surprise that the quietest was an empty classroom! Each of our scientists were extremely respectful entering classrooms and vigilant not to affect results with their own noises, well done Lewis class.

Another huge well done to everyone for settling back into school seamlessly throughout the week. It is challenging to enter the classroom after two weeks of relaxation, but the whole class have approached lessons and learning with incredible effort and enthusiasm.
