What a great afternoon! In science, we investigated how water changes from one state to another. We tested this by melting 4 different ice lollies to see which one would melt the quickest. The children found out that the rocket lolly and twister melted the fastest in just 1 hour and 22 minutes and 57 seconds! The magnum melted the slowest and the children linked this back to their prior learning about the melting point of chocolate. We discussed that the chocolate didn't fully melt until it was 55 degrees Celsius and therefore would not melt in room temperature.
