Striving for sustainability!

In our new Geography unit, Lewis class have been learning about the importance of living sustainably. In yesterday's lesson, the children completed environmental reviews of Perryfields Junior School. They identified some of our strengths, such as encouraging children to bring in reusable water bottles and recycling paper but also acknowledged areas of sustainability that we could improve.

This task even prompted Sri to write a letter in her own time to Mrs Edwards making some environmentally-friendly suggestions!

If any of the class are leaving lights on around the home or wasting water...remind them of what we are learning in school!
