Science Week

It was an absolute joy to see so many wonderful science projects this week at our first school science fair.

In the morning, the children each took a turn to present their project and explain their scientific question. There were so many amazing ideas, from research to investigations. The topic of time produced some fantastic variations of ideas, from stages of the growth of a baby to phases of the moon. I was blown away by the quality and range of the investigations. Our winners were Buddy, Aidan, and Sophie, chosen by the class for their unique ideas. Buddy with his question, ‘Is time the same in different worlds’ Aidan, with his investigation of how long it takes different objects to sink in water, and Sophie, with her research of how materials for clothes have changed over time.
