Science rocks!

Today we started our topic of rocks! 

For our talk task we grouped different rocks into our own catergories and spoke about how rocks can all be different shapes, sizes and colours. We had a go at identifying different types in our independent task using a classification key to explore which were metamorphic, sedimentary and igneous. It was very exciting when we tested the rocks with vinegar to see if they fizzed with acid!
