Rowling Class Blog 01/12/23

Another brilliant week in Rowling Class! In English, the children have been writing a set of instructions on how to wild a tame wolf. I have been very impressed with the work that everyone has been able to produce. In science, we explored various ways in which filtration, evaporation, sieving and magnetism can be utilised to separate solids and liquids. In geography, we focused on the distribution of volcanoes around the world and investigated the concept of tectonic plates. The children then looked at the Pacific Ring of Fire and the role tectonic plates play in forming volcanoes.
Well done to Minnie for being awarded our Pupil of the Week.
Let’s keep up the fantastic work Rowling and ensure that we are going on Spelling Shed so that we can retain our title as Spelling Shed Champions!
Have a lovely weekend 😊
