This week at school has been full of exciting lessons and new discoveries. In French, we've been practising how to talk about different rooms in a house. We learned how to describe the size of rooms and their colours, which was a fun way to expand our French vocabulary. We also worked on forming sentences to explain the layout of a house, which will be helpful for future conversations in French!
In Geography, we dove into the topic of UK imports. We looked at which goods the UK imports and why these goods are important to the country's economy. We also explored the role of container ships in global trade, learning how these massive vessels are used to transport commodities around the world.
In Science, we became taxonomists for the day. Our task was to plan where we would place different animals if we were to create our own zoo. We discussed the best environments for each species, considering factors such as size, climate, and social needs. It was a great way to apply our knowledge of animal classification and the natural world.
Well done to Tyler for being awarded our Pupil of the Week.
Have a great weekend 😊
