We’ve had an exciting and inspiring week filled with discovery and creativity. In science, we’ve been exploring the wonders of light and how it travels. We investigated fascinating concepts such as reflection and refraction, uncovering how light behaves and how it enables us to perceive the world around us. Additionally, we explored the structure of the human eye, learning how its various parts work together to process light, create images, and allow us to experience the incredible sense of sight. The children were captivated by the journey of light from the moment it enters the eye to when the brain interprets the image.

In history, we started learning about the Civil Rights Movement. The children were fascinated to learn about individuals who stood up for equality and justice, like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. We discussed how their actions changed the course of history and inspired people all over the world. The children shared some fantastic thoughts about fairness and standing up for what they believe in.

Well done to Ayaan for being awarded our Pupil of the Week.

Have a lovely weekend 😊
