This week has been absolutely fantastic! In English, the children have been writing some amazing non-chronological reports on how to look after a horse. We’ve been focusing on using a variety of sentence structures and, most importantly, trying to incorporate semicolons into our writing. The children have worked hard on this, and it’s been wonderful to read the writing they have produced!

In Science, we’ve been learning about the classification of animals. The children have shown great dedication and enthusiasm as they explored how animals are grouped based on their characteristics. It was a fantastic lesson, and everyone worked really hard to understand the different classifications.

In Geography, the children have demonstrated an excellent understanding of the Silk Road and its historical significance. We’ve been discussing how this ancient trade route connected different cultures and the goods that were exchanged along the way. We also explored what the UK imports and exports, learning about the products that flow in and out of the country and why they are so important.

Well done to Sienna for being awarded our Pupil of the Week.

Have a brilliant weekend.

Mr Robertson :)
