What a fantastic first week we have had. I am incredibly impressed with the hard work and enthusiasm you have all shown. In history this week, we delved into the events that led up to the beginning of World War II. We discussed how the Treaty of Versailles and the global economic crisis contributed to the mounting tensions in Europe. We also explored the key events, such as the invasion of Poland in 1939, that marked the start of the war. In science, we embarked on an exciting journey to understand the concepts of Evolution and Inheritance. We looked at how living organisms change over time and how certain traits are passed down from one generation to the next. We also examined some examples of inherited animals and how these traits can affect an organism’s ability to thrive.

Keep up the fantastic work, Morpurgo Class!

Well done to Sid for being awarded Pupil of the Week.

Have a brilliant weekend :)
