Lights, Camera, Action...

This week in Lewis class, we explored and developed our skills at drama. Each pupil participated in a range of vocal warm-up exercises which sounded delightful! We then discussed the importance of "projecting" our voices, rather than shouting at our audience. Groups then acted out various school scenarios; everyone getting a turn at being the 'teacher' and using their voices effectively to manage their students. Finally, we finished off with writing our own short stories and delivering them to the class using our clearest and most expressionate voices. It was a really fun couple of mornings spent together.

Wishing everyone an enjoyable, restful and safe Easter holiday break. I look forward to seeing everyone returning for our summer term, full of determination and ready to learn!
