Lewis Class 24.11.2023

Date: 8th Dec 2023 @ 7:52pm

What a brilliant week in Lewis class!

In DT this week, the children started analysing wire loop games. During the lesson, they started completing their market research where they looked at and tested different types of wire loop games that are already available so they could identify the elements of the games they liked and what they thought could be improved when they create their own.

In Geography, the children continued the topic of sustainability where they looked at the physical and human geography of Exminster. During the lesson, the children looked at Ordinance Survey maps and aerial photographs of Exminster to identify different features such as the railway line, river, fields that contained scrapes, settlements, fields and woodland areas. All of the children did a fantastic job of looking carefully at the Ordinance Survey maps so they could identify them on the aerial photographs.

On Friday, the children started practicing for their Christmas Service. During their practice, the children worked hard to start learning the songs and were working hard to learn their lines – keep up the brilliant work Year 4!

Well done to our ‘Pupil of the Week’ Adam A for his hard work and determination during assessment week – keep up the super work Adam!

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Miss Kingston :)
