Lewis Class 10.05.2024
Date: 12th May 2024 @ 1:39pm
What another fantastic week in Lewis Class!
In English this week, the children have been writing balanced arguments around the story of Mulan. The children thought carefully about why Mulan should and should not be allowed to join the army and explained these using formal language, present tense, a range of sentence structures and adverbials to build cohesion.
In maths, the children have been looking at decimals where they have been dividing 1 and 2-digit numbers by 10 and 100 and writing decimals up to two decimal places.
In history this week, the children were putting their research skills to the test and researching the Edo people's beliefs during the period of the Benin Kingdom. The children all found out lots about beliefs during this time period and were all able to explain what they had found out.
Well done to our ‘Pupil of the Week’ Lara for her incredible learning attitude and hard work - keep up the brilliant work Lara!
Have a lovely weekend!
Miss Kingston :)
