Headteacher Round-up!

Well done to our boys football squad who competed in the inter-school tournaments at Great Baddow this week. The team showed great determination, encouragement for each other and skill throughout the afternoon and finished 4^th (out of 24 schools) overall! Outstanding efforts all round!

Thank you to those parents who attended our Parent/Teacher Presentation on Monday. Miss Boyle and Mrs Edwards emphasised the importance of reading regularly with your children, different strategies to us for maximum effect and they also talked about homework expectations. For those parents who couldn’t attend, we will be running another session early in the Spring term.

It was lovely to see so many parents and carers at our MacMillan coffee afternoon yesterday-a huge thankyou to our kind band of helpers for organising this very worthwhile event! Also, thank you to all those families and friends who donated cakes and attended the event; your generosity will undoubtedly help those in need. We hope you all enjoyed looking at our Nandos homework which was displayed in the hall- I was over whelmed with the effort and creativity on show!
