Farewell and Good Luck PJS!

Dear Parents and Carers

Well, the end of term is here and it has certainly been another great year for our whole school community, and I thank you all; children, staff, parents, governors for supporting us during 2023/24. We have enjoyed another super year here!

It is now time for me to leave Perryfields and I just want you to know that working here has been the best job I’ve ever had. With an Outstanding Ofsted report, remarkable SATs results and a formidable team I am sure Perryfields will go on to achieve even more. In the great scheme of life, a child’s time in Primary school is short-but so very precious-I hope you will always treasure it.

As your Headteacher, I have thought about Perryfields every day (and night) for the past 10 years and I’m sure that I will continue to think very fondly about you all in the future, because this school, quite rightly, means so much to so many.

Our recent Ofsted report claims that,

‘This is a very special place,’

and I firmly believe this to be true.

Good luck to you all and thank you for putting up with me for so long!
