Dahl Class Update 1/12/23

Date: 1st Dec 2023 @ 4:02pm

We've had another very productive week in Dahl Class this week.

In English this morning, the children wrote an instruction text about how to get a lion ready for the wild. This was on the back of our two week cycle of the Wolf Wilder.
We continued our science topic with a scientific experiment where the children had to predict how to separate different solutions. After the lesson, we found out how to use filtration, sieving, evaporation and magnetism.

The children thoroughly enjoyed predicting the outcome with a very high success rate. In geography, we moved onto learning about the different location of volcanoes and how they are formed around the world. The children were fascinated to learn that over three quarters of the world's active volcanos are located within the same area. This afternoon, the children again worked towards finishing their cam toys which are coming long nicely. I'm sure you're you'll all be impressed it's the outcomes come the Christmas holidays.

A special mention to Lylah who is our Pupil of the Week this week for her efforts across the board. Well done Lylah.

Have a great weekend everyone!
