Black History! 

This week, we have been celebrating Black History Month. We have been looking at the importance of influential people from the past and how they have changed our world for the better. In computing, we studied the impact that Dorothy Vaughan had towards NASA and had a go at coding our own rockets on Scratch. We also discovered how Florence Price influenced the world with music and created a beat as a class using just our bodies!

In science, we have been continuing our investigations of rocks and spent some time researching all about Mary Anning and her discoveries and in art we have been getting messy with charcoal and oil pastels!
