A busy week in Seuss Class!

What a busy week!

We started the week learning about rocks and soils. Working as scientists, the children conducted an investigation to understand what soil is made from. In our history lessons, we learned about Stonehenge and discussed what we thought it was used for. In maths, we have been learning about adding one- and two-digit numbers to three-digit numbers, including crossing tens. This has been a tricky concept to grasp, and I have encouraged the children to show their grownups what they have been learning. Today, some children had the opportunity to participate in a maths morning where they worked together to solve problems.

I have received some fantastic Nando's homework this term.  It is a joy to show these off in class.
