12.02.2024 Colchester Castle Trip

What an incredible day we’ve had!

Today, we visited Colchester Castle where we had the opportunity to travel back to the Roman Era!

During the day, the children explored the museum galleries where they looked at how Colchester had changed between the Iron Age to the Roman Heyday. After this, they also had the opportunity to construct a Roman Villa and Iron Age Round House. Finally, we had a story tour where we learnt more about the Celtic and Roman eras in the Roman Temple Vaults.

All of the children were excellent ambassadors for our school and they all had a fantastic day!
